How to Clean and Care for your Razzle + Rose Jewellery

Wearing Your Jewels

💗 To prolong the life of your precious pieces we recommend avoiding water, perfumes, oils and cosmetics, all of which can compromise the plating over time

💗 We recommend removing before exercising and showering

💗 It’s best to remove your jewellery before you go to bed to avoid any damage

💗 We go by the rule that jewellery should be “Last thing on, First thing off”!

 

Storing Your Jewels

💗 When not wearing your pieces, store them in a closed jewellery box or pouch (not in the bathroom as humidity can cause damage)

💗 Each order includes an anti-tarnish tab so pop this in with your piece to slow the oxidisation process that causes jewellery to tarnish

 

Cleaning Your Jewels

💗 Carefully wipe each piece with your complementary polishing cloth after each wear to remove any surface dirt and maintain shine!

💗 Don't use any chemicals to clean your jewellery as this can damage the plating. Just water and a soft lint-free cloth should do the trick

 

Tarnishing

💗 Did you know that the only jewellery that doesn't tarnish at all is Solid Gold? We like to keep our jewellery affordable so we use 18k Gold, 24k Gold and Silver plating. If worn regularly, gold and silver plated jewellery will gradually start to show wear, particularly on highly-used components such as the chain or back of a pendant or earring backs. 

💗 You may see the colour slowly changing over time, but this is not a fault of the item, it is general wear.
